Pater Rupert Mayer sammelt Spenden
Father Rupert Mayer collects donations.
Father Rupert Mayer is regarded as the „Apostle of Charity“ of Munich. Starting as early as the 1920s, he tirelessly collected donations, organized soup kitchens, and advocated for the poor and homeless. In 1921, he was elected to the board of the Caritas Association for Munich and Freising. Even during the Nazi era, he secretly organized charity drives, despite bans imposed by the National Socialists.
